Vintage Valve radio Ekco U199a 1953 ~ Bakelite Medium, Long wave WORKING -

Ekco U199a dating from 1953, this set covers medium and long wave. It has the lovely rich mellow tone typical of that era. Brown bakelite case with the cream speaker grille which is in good condition. Working well and been running all day with no problems. The print is coming away from the window but you can still see most of the scale, see photo. This radio has not been restored so you can see some dust in the grille and the case could do with a clean, one small chip i can see to the lower right side which is not too bad and cant even be seen on the photo. Like all period radios, this is a collectors piece and is sold as such. It may not meet modern safety standards and should be tested before use
