This is an Apple iPod Touch 3rd Generation 32GB. Only the 32GB and 64GB can be 3rd Generation. There is no 8GB or 16GB versions in the 3rd Generation!!! 3rd Gen iPod touches are faster than the older 2nd and 1st gen ipods! This means smoother game play! This specific iPod comes with a FREE blue rubber case which as you can see in the pictures, fits onto the metal part of the iPod. I am also throwing in a FREE plastic screen protector which has never been used and is still in its packaging. ALL Buttons work 100%, nothing is broken and nothing is cracked. However there are scratches on the back of the iPod due to normal use (it is very easy to scratch the back of all ipods). None of the scratches are deep. There are very very few and small scratches on the front, but you need to REALLY concentrate on it to see it. They are not visible at all when the ipod is on.
